S92: Fracture of foot, except ankle

S92.7: Multiple fractures of foot

At the back of the foot there are various bones, the tarsal bones. A tarsal bone and the lower leg together form the ankle joint. The ankle joint connects the foot to the lower leg. Most of the foot is made up of the metatarsal bones. The metatarsal bones are long bones between the tarsal bones and the toes. You have broken more than one bone in your foot.

When you have broken bones, you can have pain, for example. Usually the foot can no longer be moved properly.
