R56.0: Febrile convulsions
When someone has fever, they can have a febrile seizure. Febrile seizures mainly occur in children between 6 months and 5 years old. With a febrile seizure, muscles in the body contract involuntarily. During this time the person is not properly conscious. The person may also be very pale or their lips might turn blue.
