O86.1: Other infection of genital tract following delivery
The internal female genital organs include the uterus, the fallopian tubes and ovaries. The vagina is also one of the internal genital organs and goes from the uterus to the outside of the body. Genital organ inflammations can occur, for example, after injuries or due to penetrating pathogens. When genital organs become inflamed, it can cause abdominal pain and fever. The affected area can swell up and turn red.
