K04: Diseases of pulp and periapical tissues
K04.2: Pulp degeneration
Every tooth has a hollow interior. Connective tissue such as nerves and blood vessels is found inside a tooth. Through its interior, a tooth is formed and sustained.
The inside of the tooth can change in old age or due to diseases of the tooth. The inside of your tooth has become hard or calculus has formed on the inside.
Sometimes you will have no symptoms if for instance you have calculus on the inside of a tooth. But the tooth may then be more difficult to treat.
