However, these antibodies can also attack the body’s tissue. The antibodies have been damaging your heart for a long time.

The heart pumps blood through the body. In the process, the blood flows through blood vessels. The blood supplies all areas of the body with oxygen and nutrients.

When the heart is damaged, it may no longer be able to pump blood through the body so well.
