Mania is a mental disorder. If you are manic, your mood is excessively heightened. You can then be very irritable or agitated. You may also feel very energetic and more capable than usual. You may overestimate yourself. You might talk too much, not sleep very much, or find it hard to concentrate on one thought. Mania can seriously affect one’s everyday life, work or private life.
