D37-D48: Neoplasms of uncertain or unknown behaviour

D41: Neoplasm of uncertain or unknown behaviour of urinary organs

Neoplasms of uncertain or unknown behavior of urinary organs are conditions characterized by abnormal cell growth within the urinary system, which includes the kidneys, bladders, ureters, and urethra, where it's unclear if these cells are benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). This uncertainty typically arises when cell behavior doesn't clearly align with the typical cells of benign or cancerous growths. These abnormal cells can cause symptoms such as urinary discomfort, blood in urine, frequent urination, back pain and sometimes, if the growth is large enough, it could cause visible swelling. The causes of such growths can vary and may be linked to genetic factors, exposure to certain chemicals or chronic inflammation, although it's often challenging to pinpoint one single cause. This condition can progress differently in different individuals, based on factors like the exact location of the growth, the size, and the individual's overall health.
