Z72: Problems related to lifestyle
Z72.5: High-risk sexual behaviour
High-risk sexual behaviour refers to activities that increase your chances of getting or spreading sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). It includes not using protection, such as condoms, during sex; having multiple sexual partners; practicing sex with a partner who has HIV/AIDS or other STDs; or engaging in sexual activities under the influence of drugs or alcohol, which can lead to unprotected sex. This behaviour can result in a wide range of STDs, such as HIV, herpes, gonorrhoea, chlamydia, and syphilis, each having their own symptoms that may include painful urination, sores in the genital area, unusual discharges, and flu-like symptoms. High-risk sexual behaviour doesn't always lead to an STD right away, but it significantly increases the chances and over the long term, these diseases, if left untreated, can lead to more severe health problems like infertility and an increased risk of getting certain types of cancer.
