T83: Complications of genitourinary prosthetic devices, implants and grafts

T83.1: Mechanical complication of other urinary devices and implants

The urinary passages include the ureters, bladder and urethra. Urine flows from both kidneys into the bladder via the ureters. The urethra channels the urine outward from the bladder.

For example, you have a tube or electronic device in your urinary tract.

The treatment caused you problems or damage. The tube or the electronic device may no longer be in the right place, for example. This can for instance injure the bladder or the urethra.
