T63: Toxic effect of contact with venomous animals
T63.3: Toxic effect: Venom of spider
If you are poisoned by spider venom you can have different problems.
You may have a wound that is painful or inflamed, for example. When poisoned by spider venom your heart may beat too quickly, too slowly, or irregularly. Spider venom can also change the blood clotting process. The purpose of clotting is to stop bleeds. If the blood clotting process is changed, bleeds may be heavier or last longer, for example. As with the blood clotting process, the nervous system can also be disturbed. Some bodily functions may then be changed.
