T11: Other injuries of upper limb, level unspecified

T11.2: Dislocation, sprain and strain of unspecified joint and ligament of upper limb, level unspecified

You have injured a joint. An injured joint may be dislocated, for example. The bones in the joint are then no longer properly aligned. Cartilage, ligaments or the joint capsule may also be injured. The body’s ligaments consist of tough connective tissue. Ligaments hold the joints together and ensure that we can move our joints normally. Joints are encased in a joint capsule.
