T06.4: Injuries of muscles and tendons involving multiple body regions
Muscles enable the arms and legs to be moved, for example. Tendons are made up of very firm connective tissue. Tendons attach muscles to bones.
The problems depend on which parts of the muscles or tendons have been damaged. When someone has damaged muscles or tendons they may have pain in the place affected. It may be that you are no longer able to move affected parts of your body properly. Their movement is then weaker or their range of mobility is reduced, for example. When muscles or tendons are badly damaged, they may also tear.
