S62: Fracture at wrist and hand level

S62.7: Multiple fractures of fingers

The hand is made up of a lot of small bones and joints. Immediately after the forearm is the carpus. Then comes the metacarpus and then the individual fingers. The thumb consists of 2 finger bones. The other fingers consist of 3 finger bones.

You have broken bones in more than one of your fingers.

When you have broken bones, you can have pain, for example. You may then no longer be able to move your finger properly.
