S13: Dislocation, sprain and strain of joints and ligaments at neck level
S13.4: Sprain and strain of cervical spine
The cervical spine consists of 7 cervical vertebrae. These cervical vertebrae are connected to one another by various ligaments and joints. You have overstretched these ligaments. A joint may also have been strained.
This happens, for example, with sudden violent movements, as in a car accident. As a result you can get neck pain, for example, or headaches.
