R27: Other lack of coordination
R27.0: Ataxia, unspecified
Many parts of the body have to work together for movements to be fluid. Different muscles have to work together in a finely tuned manner, for example. The brain controls these finely tuned movements.
If the sequence of movements is disrupted, then the movements may be more pronounced than one would like. It is also possible for the movements to be too slow. A person may also be very unsteady when walking or standing.
