O03.6: Spontaneous abortion : complete or unspecified, complicated by delayed or excessive haemorrhage

During pregnancy, a child develops inside your uterus. In the case of a miscarriage the child, not yet fully developed, is prematurely expelled from the womb. There can be various reasons for a miscarriage. It may be that the child has not developed properly and died in the womb. It may also be that other reasons caused the miscarriage and the child died immediately afterwards.

You suffered unusually heavy bleeding during or after the miscarriage.
