N97: Female infertility

N97.3: Female infertility of cervical origin

A woman’s inability to conceive over a long period of time despite having unprotected sex is referred to as infertility.

The cause of this is a change or disease in your cervix.

The uterus or womb sits in the pelvis and is pear-shaped. The narrower part extends downward into the vagina and is called the cervix. When a woman is pregnant, the child grows in her uterus.
