N80-N98: Noninflammatory disorders of female genital tract
N96: Habitual aborter
Women who have had three or more miscarriages in the past are said to have a tendency to miscarry. This can have a wide range of causes. For example, genetic mutations may have occurred. Changes in messenger substances and susceptibility to blood clots can also cause miscarriages. There may also have been changes to the uterus itself. However the cause of the miscarriages cannot always be identified for certain.
