The abdominal organs are located in the abdominal cavity. The inside of the abdominal cavity is covered by a thin membrane. This thin membrane also surrounds all the organs in the abdomen. The organs can move against each other thanks to this thin membrane. The thin layer of skin around the organs in your pelvis has become inflamed. The genital organs are located in the pelvis. This type of inflammation can occur, for example, if the organs in the pelvis are inflamed.

In most cases, the inflammation causes pains in the abdomen.
