N51: Disorders of male genital organs in diseases classified elsewhere
N51.1: Disorders of testis and epididymis in diseases classified elsewhere
The male genital organs include the testicles, the epididymis and the penis. The testicles are located outside the body, and are covered by skin. That is the scrotum. The epididymides are right next to the testicles. The sperm cells mature and are stored in the epididymes. But there are also other smaller glands and various other tissues that are part of the genitals.
You have been infected with specific pathogens. As a result, your testicle or your epididymis has become inflamed.
The inflammation can cause a number of different symptoms such as pain or high temperature.
