N49: Inflammatory disorders of male genital organs, not elsewhere classified
N49.0: Inflammatory disorders of seminal vesicle
The male genital organs include the testicles and the penis.
But there are also other smaller glands and various other tissues that are part of the genitals. These include the seminal vesicles. The two seminal vesicles sit behind the bladder. The seminal vesicles form a sugary fluid. This fluid is important in enabling the sperm to move.
Your seminal vesicle has become inflamed. You may experience pain between your legs or in your lower abdomen. Sometimes you will also have a fever.
An inflammation of the seminal vesicle may be caused by pathogens, for example, or other conditions.
