N43: Hydrocele and spermatocele
N43.0: Encysted hydrocele
The testicles are located outside the body, and are covered by skin. That is the scrotum. The spermatic cord goes from the scrotum into the pelvis through the groin. The spermatic cord contains the spermatic duct (vas deferens), blood vessels and nerves. During climax, the spermatic duct carries the sperm outside the body.
Fluid has accumulated around your spermatic cord.
There may be various reasons for the accumulation of fluid, for example if a testicle is damaged or inflamed.
The accumulated fluid can cause the affected testicle to become swollen.
