L92: Granulomatous disorders of skin and subcutaneous tissue
L92.3: Foreign body granuloma of skin and subcutaneous tissue
This disease causes small, solid papules to be formed. The papules can be reddy-brown or skin-colored. The papules can be as small as pinheads or as big as peas.
The papules develop after foreign bodies have entered the skin. These foreign bodies can be substances foreign to the body such as wooden or metal splinters. However, these foreign bodies can also be the body’s own substances such as hair that has grown into the skin.
