L65: Other nonscarring hair loss
L65.1: Anagen effluvium
You have lost more hair than usual in many places, because your hair roots are damaged. Hair grows in a specific sequence. In your case, hair development is being disturbed while your hair is growing. Hair loss from a healthy scalp is scarcely noticeable. In other words, no bald patches are visible.
Hair loss can be caused by feverish illnesses or certain medications, for example. Sometimes the hair also falls out as a result of severe physical stress.
