L60.3: Nail dystrophy
Nails in your hands or feet are affected.
When a nail gets damaged, it sometimes stops growing properly. The nail concerned then often has an irregular surface. This includes grooves in the nail, or pieces splintering from the nail, for example. This change to the nail is due to injuries, for example, or to other disorders. Frequent washing or application of nail polish remover can also cause the nail to stop growing properly.
