L53: Other erythematous conditions
L53.2: Erythema marginatum
The first sign of this skin condition is pinky-red patches on the skin that are slightly higher than the surrounding skin. These patches quickly get bigger and lighter again in the middle. This causes unusual patterns to develop on the skin.
The pinky-red patches of skin are mainly found on the upper body. However, it can also affect other areas of the body such as arms and legs.
