K61: Abscess of anal and rectal regions
K61.4: Intrasphincteric abscess
The last segment of the large intestine consists of 2 sections. These 2 sections are the rectum and anal canal. The feces are collected in the rectum. The feces then move through the short anal canal to the anus. Feces are excreted through the anus. The anus is located at the end of the intestines and is ring-shaped. A sphincter muscle in the last segment of the intestines ensures that we only intentionally excrete feces through the anus.
This cavity has developed because of an inflammation. In your case, the cavity is between the sphincter muscles of the anus.
As a result, you are probably experiencing severe pain during bowel movements. As a result of the cavity, you may have pain in your lower abdomen and bottom. The pain may occur in particular when you are sitting. You may feel feeble. It is also possible that you will have a high temperature and shivering.
