K59: Other functional intestinal disorders

K59.4: Anal spasm

The anus is located at the end of the intestines and is ring-shaped. A sphincter muscle in the last segment of the intestines ensures that we only intentionally excrete feces through the anus.

The anus is surrounded by the sphincter muscle and many muscles in the pelvis. In your case, it is suspected that these muscles are sometimes cramping up. As a result, you are having spasmodic pain in your anus.
