I86: Varicose veins of other sites
I86.2: Pelvic varices
The veins carry the blood to the heart from the pelvis. The veins in your pelvis have widened. This can occur, for example, when the blood is no longer able to flow properly. Various veins from the different organs in the pelvis may be affected. The pelvis is where the bladder and the intestine are located, for example.
If the blood is unable to flow properly through the veins, the blood can accumulate. This can cause pain, or the organs may get damaged. But it may be that you have no problems at all.
