H18: Other disorders of cornea
H18.7: Other corneal deformities
The cornea is located at the front of the eye. It is transparent and curved. The curvature focuses light in the eye. This is vital to be able to see clearly.
The shape of your cornea has changed. The cornea can be spherical or flatter than normal, for example. A change to the shape of the cornea may result in the light in the cornea no longer being broken up as normal. As a result you may find it harder to see clearly.
