H17: Corneal scars and opacities
H17.8: Other corneal scars and opacities
The cornea is located at the front of the eye. It is transparent and curved. The curvature focuses light in the eye. This is vital to be able to see clearly.
Your cornea is cloudy in one or more areas. This kind of cloudiness can develop from a scar in the cornea. However, it can also be caused by various other things. The cloudy area of the cornea can be in the center or at the edge of the cornea. A cloudy cornea means you may no longer be able to see very well with that eye.
