H16: Keratitis

H16.4: Corneal neovascularization

The cornea is located at the front of the eye. It is transparent and curved. The curvature focuses light in the eye. This is vital to be able to see clearly.

The cornea itself does not normally contain any blood vessels. It is among other things supplied with nutrients through the fluid in the eye and the lacrimal fluid. However, in your case new blood vessels have formed in the cornea of your eye.
