G80: Cerebral palsy

G80.3: Dyskinetic cerebral palsy

Since your early childhood you have had a mobility disorder. This type of mobility disorder means, for example, that you make movements even when you do not want to. You may also have problems when speaking. The symptoms can become worse if you get excited, for example.

These types of mobility problems are caused by brain damage. This can occur during pregnancy, during the birth, or in the days after the birth. The brain can get damaged by toxic substances or a lack of oxygen, for example. But there are other possible causes. In a case of brain damage, certain mental capabilities may sometimes not develop properly.
