G20-G26: Extrapyramidal and movement disorders
G26: Extrapyramidal and movement disorders in diseases classified elsewhere
You have a disorder which prevents you from moving in the same way as most other people. This also affects unconscious movements. An example of an unconscious movement is swinging one’s arms while walking. With this type of movement disorder, the arms may swing too much or too little, for example. You may also have problems beginning a movement. You may also shake or make very big movements even though you do not actually want to do so.
With this movement disorder, the muscles cannot be moved with the same elasticity as usual. The muscles are too tense or lack tone.
