G10: Huntington disease

You have a hereditary disease as a result of which the nerve cells in the brain break down. The brain then gets smaller and is no longer able to carry out its tasks properly. This condition is called Huntington disease. One may also be unable to control one’s movements. One may have difficulties thinking and with one’s own mood. The person also sometimes becomes forgetful or no longer knows where they are. Other of your family members may also have this disease.
