With this developmental disorder you initially develop normally, both physically and mentally. You then lose some capabilities within a few months. The exact reason for this is not known.
Your intellectual capabilities may gradually decline. You also no longer be able to move properly. You may no longer be interested in what is around you. You can have great difficulty in interacting with other people and communicating with them. For instance, you can lose the ability to speak. You may keep repeating particular actions. As a result, you may no longer be able to pass water normally or to control your bowel movement. You may have other problems too.
