F81: Specific developmental disorders of scholastic skills
F81.3: Mixed disorder of scholastic skills
You find it difficult to learn certain skills at school. These skills may be reading, writing or arithmetic, for example. When you read words, you may find it hard to understand them, for example. You often do not recognize words that you have read before. You may not be able to read out loud as well as other people of your age. Maybe you are unable to read very well. As a result, you may find it difficult to write words properly or to spell words. You may have found it difficult to learn how to speak or to articulate words properly. You may find it hard to work with numbers and your arithmetic may be poor.
The precise reason for this is unknown. The cause is probably not that your sight or hearing is poor.
