F81: Specific developmental disorders of scholastic skills
F81.0: Specific reading disorder
When you read words, you find it hard to understand them. You do not usually recognize words that you have read before. You cannot read out loud as well as other people of your age. You are unable to read very well. As a result, you may find it difficult to write words properly or to spell words. You probably found it difficult to learn how to speak or to articulate words properly.
The precise reason for this is unknown. The cause is probably not that your sight or hearing is poor.
