Anxiety is an unpleasant sensation of threat. There are mental conditions that leave you feeling more anxious than normal or anxious without just cause. There are a variety of reasons for these mental disorders. Physical and mental influences can play a role.

You are anxious about something very specific. This may include certain situations, things or animals.

Anxiety leads to a range of symptoms appearing. For example, they may feel unsafe and light-headed or feel that they are losing control. Possible other symptoms are things like dizziness or palpitations. They can also feel it is more difficult to breathe.
