Anxiety is an unpleasant sensation of threat. There are mental conditions that leave you feeling more anxious than normal or anxious without just cause. There are a variety of reasons for these mental disorders. Physical and mental influences can play a role.
You have a mental disorder. This condition causes you to be afraid of situations where you’re with people. This anxiety often occurs when you are the center of attention. You are afraid of criticism or of embarrassing yourself. You often avoid the situations that make you afraid.
When someone is afraid, a range of symptoms may appear. For example, they may feel unsafe and light-headed or feel that they are losing control. Other possible symptoms are things like nausea or blushing. You may also sweat or have shaky hands. They can also feel it is more difficult to breathe.
