E61.5: Molybdenum deficiency
Molybdenum is contained particularly in legumes, dairy products and meat. We normally absorb sufficient molybdenum in our food. It is very rare to have insufficient molybdenum in the body. Not a lot is yet known about which symptoms can be caused by a molybdenum deficiency. The heart may beat faster than usual. You may get headaches and not be able to concentrate very well. A molybdenum deficiency may damage the nerves and brain.
