B42.0: Pulmonary sporotrichosis
The illness is caused by fungi. The fungi particularly occur on wood and rotting areas of plants. The fungi can get into the skin via any small wound. Fungi produce resistant spores in order to propagate. Drafts can spread the spores around the environment. The fungal spores can also be breathed in along with air.
If the fungi get into your lungs they can inflame the lungs. You may get a cough and be severely ill.
