B34.0: Adenovirus infection, unspecified site

There are various kinds of viruses. You have been infected with adenoviruses.

Adenoviruses often cause inflammations in the airways or in the stomach area. You can then have a cough or abdominal pain, for example. It may be that the virus does not cause many problems, but you may also become seriously ill. Adenoviruses are transmitted person-to-person, for example by coughing, sneezing or shaking hands. The viruses can also be transmitted via objects that a sick person has handled.
