Your skin has been inflamed by pathogens because it was injured. Sometimes, injuries to the skin are so small that they are invisible. The inflammation has damaged your skin further.
The inflamed skin can appear red. The inflamed skin can also be warm and swollen. Pain in this skin area is common as well. The inflammation may cause fever and shivering too. You may also feel weak and sick.
