Doctor of Medical Sciences

With a degree in Dentistry from the University of Bologna, Italy, obtained in 2005, and a doctoral degree in Medical Sciences from the same university, completed in 2016, she is a proven academic professional. Since 2018, she has been an active researcher in the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences at the University of Bologna. She has served as a member of the editorial and scientific committee of the Italian Society of Periodontology in 2018-2019 and 2016/2017, respectively.

With significant teaching experience, she was a visiting professor at the San Raffaele University in Milan in 2015-2016 and a lecturer in the postgraduate training program at the Faculty of Dentistry of the same university in 2017. In 2018, she taught at the second level of the International Master's Degree at the University of Bologna.

She is an active member of the National Osteology Group of Italy (NOGI) and an ITI Fellow since 2018, where she also serves as the director of the ITI Study Club and a member of the ITI Leadership Development Committee. From 2005 to the present, she has been practicing as a dentist and a periodontology expert. She is the author of several publications in PubMed and a co-author of a chapter in the book "Implant Therapy." She is a frequent lecturer at national and international periodontology conferences.
