Emergencies in Dental Practice - LEVEL 2

We are pleased to open registration for Level Two of the course "Emergency Conditions in Dental Practice", led by the medical team of the First Aid Academy. 🦷The course is entirely aimed at dentists who have already completed our training.

The training is practically oriented and will cover emergency conditions in dental practice, aiming to review and build on the knowledge from our first course.

📌The course includes a lecture and a practical module, led by physicians, on the following topics:

Lecture module: • EPALS (European Paediatric Advanced Life Support) - protocols for working with children • Toxic reaction to local anesthesia • Reversible causes of respiratory and cardiac arrest • Shocks – Types and definition, which can happen to us, determination of shock index – actions of the dental practitioner. • Collapse – principles and actions • IV/IO infusions and solutions – choice of IV cannula, choice of site, choice of solution, infusion rate • Cardiovascular diseases and their complications - drug administration • Vascular events – infarction / stroke Fast protocol • Allergic reaction / Anaphylactic shock – response and drug administration Practical module: • IV infusions and solutions – choice of IV cannula, choice of site, choice of solution, work with a manikin for infusions and venipuncture • IO intraosseous infusions, work with a manikin • Reversible causes of respiratory and cardiac arrest – action protocol • Practice of pediatric emergencies • Practice with AED

The group is limited to 12 people per course.

The course price includes lectures, video materials, practical exercises, consumables for them, and a certificate for completion of an ALS course.
